“Romani Kamera” Tours the Ruhr: Romani Cinema in Five Cities
From 17 October to 6 November 2026, the intercultural film series Romani Kamera organised by Roma Art Action brings films by Roma filmmakers to Dortmund, Essen, Oberhausen, Bochum and Mülheim an der Ruhr. The European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) contributes films from its short-film programme AMARO KINO, with the full selection presented at the closing evening in Mülheim on 6 November.
Each Romani Kamera evening combines screenings with a public discussion between representatives of politics, civil society and Roma communities. Admission is free at all venues upon registration.
