The rich history and diverse cultural production of Roma and Sinti are still far too little known in Germany, despite being the largest ethnic minority in Europe. On the contrary, stereotypes and exclusion still dominate the social landscape with the discourse being determined and dominated by non-Roma and non-Sinti. This must change. How can knowledge about and from Roma and Sinti be made more visible and tangible? How can a just and fair representation be created in the digital space? Are knowledge projects like Wikipedia suitable to share knowledge about culture in a self-determined way on the web for everyone?
