ERIAC and BEAST International Film Festival Present AMARO KINO in Porto
ERIAC is pleased to collaborate with BEAST International Film Festival for a special screening of AMARO KINO: Romani Short Films, taking place on 6 June at 17:17 at Batalha Centro de Cinema in Porto.
The programme brings together four short films from across Europe that explore themes of identity, belonging, resilience, and cultural survival through contemporary Romani storytelling. Combining documentary and fiction, the selection highlights perspectives and experiences rarely represented on screen.

Initiated by ERIAC, AMARO KINO is a travelling film programme dedicated to promoting contemporary Romani cinema and amplifying Roma voices in the audiovisual field. Throughout 2026, the programme will travel to several European film festivals and cultural spaces, creating opportunities for audiences to engage with diverse Romani perspectives through film.
The screening is presented in collaboration with the 9th edition of BEAST International Film Festival, taking place in Porto from 3–7 June 2026.
