Shaping Roma Cultural Futures | ERIACNET4EU Beneficiaries
The European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) is pleased to publish the list of FSTP beneficiaries awarded under the ERIACNET4EU project, funded by the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme. Each selected project brings a distinct perspective, ranging from the recovery of Roma musical heritage and the documentation of Roma women’s voices, to participatory community storytelling, exhibitions, contemporary fashion, animation, theatre, and festivals activating public space. Under ERIACNET4EU, cultural practice is mobilised as a tool for memory work, social engagement, and the promotion of EU rights and values.

TOTAL INVESTMENT: € 100,000.00
Following the competitive call for projects, ERIAC received 31 applications from 13 EU Member States. Through a two-stage selection process, the Jury selected 10 projects for funding, with a total investment of €100,000. Each awarded grant amounts to €10,000 (100% project funding) and runs for up to 7 months.
At ERIAC, we look forward to seeing your ideas come to life, whether by reshaping narratives about Roma in Europe through advocacy, cultural diplomacy, and intercultural exchange between Roma and non-Roma; strengthening capacities to protect and promote EU rights and values; or raising citizen awareness of these rights and values, with the support of ERIAC and the European Union.

Summary: A cross-border Hungarian-Slovak project recovering Romani songs absorbed into the Hungarian musical tradition, restoring their original Romani-language elements through professional studio recordings and online distribution.
