ERIACNET4EU Closing Event: Celebrating Four Years of Advancing Roma Inclusion
November 19, 2025
As part of the VIII ERIAC General Assembly, the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) is proud to announce the ERIACNET4EU Closing Event, taking place on 29 November 2025 in Bucharest and online.
The event marks the completion of four years of dedicated work towards advancing Roma inclusion and fighting antigypsyism in the EU – carried out through the ERIACNET4EU initiative and implemented under a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) with the European Commission.
The Closing Event will offer a moment to celebrate achievements and highlight ERIAC’s key activities between 2022 and 2025, which have been instrumental in bringing the ERIACNET4EU mission to life: organising training courses and capacity-building activities, hosting networking events and community outreach initiatives, and producing high-quality input for policy-making and implementation. These efforts have not only raised awareness but also opened new channels of dialogue with public authorities, ensuring that Roma perspectives shape policies at local, national, and EU levels.
A central part of the event will be dedicated to the Voices from the Network, featuring presentations from two ERIACNET4EU beneficiaries – Vera Lackova (Media Voice, Slovakia) and Fabian Sanchez (Asociacion Nacional Presencia Gitana, Spain) – who will share their experiences, creative outputs, and reflections on how the ERIACNET4EU regranting scheme supported their work.
In addition to taking stock of important accomplishments, the Closing Event will also introduce the next iteration of the initiative for 2026–2028. We look forward to welcoming our members, partners, and supporters to celebrate this milestone together.
