Dijana Pavlović and Noell Maggini Participate in Fashion Beyond Waste, Berlin Edition
Dijana Pavlović, artist, activist, actress and Deputy Chair of the ERIAC Board, and Noell Maggini, fashion designer and finalist of the Tajsa Roma Cultural Heritage Prize 2025, will participate in the special edition of Fashion Beyond Waste on January 30, during Berlin Fashion Week. A ZeroW’s format dedicated to showcasing designers and projects developed through deadstock and circular materials, the special edition coincides with the official opening of ZeroW’s first permanent showroom in Berlin, celebrated within the Fashion X Craft program promoted by the Fashion Council Germany.
A rising talent in Italian haute couture, Noell Maggini presents his collection Don’t Tell Me How I Should Dress, a declaration of autonomy and self-definition. Former curator of the Pavilion of the Roma Nation at the 24th Triennale di Milano, Dijana Pavlović brings to Berlin her ongoing project Luludì: 117 Talismans, a series of wearable objects and installations situated between body, memory, and ritual.
Throughout the day, Fashion Beyond Waste offers a program of exhibitions and installations, conversations with founders, networking moments for designers and discussions on the future of circularity in fashion — creating an open platform for dialogue with the Berlin fashion and creative community.
Dijana Pavlović – Luludì: 117 Talismans
“A wound that turns into light.
A promise taking shape.
Each jewel is a minute body of freedom.
A memory that refuses to die.”
A series of material works ranging from wearable talismans to artistic installations, the pieces in the Luludì: 117 Talismans collection function as a relic of memory: natural elements, manual gesture, and layers of time condense into compact, essential forms. The project employs organic materials, natural fragments, reclaimed textiles, and recovered leather. Discarded matter is preserved, transformed, and fixed into new configurations, pursuing a form of sustainability that concerns both material and its destiny. The talismans are crafted from seeds, spices, earths, and symbolic threads, suspended within diaphanous matrices enriched with mineral pigments and gold leaf. Frames, trays, and structures in gold-plated brass define their status as unique objects, situated between body, memory, and artwork.

Noell Maggini – Don’t Tell Me How I Should Dress
“Being Noell Maggini means choosing every day what truly represents us”.
The Don’t Tell Me How I Should Dress collection was born from the desire to give voice to what women no longer want to explain or justify. It is an act of visual and conceptual liberation, portraying a woman who rejects conformity and chooses —without asking permission—to live on her own terms. In this collection, clothing is neither armor nor a tool to hide emotions. Instead, it becomes the most honest means of expressing what lives within. The garments speak, take a stand, and reveal an inner truth that no longer needs to be silenced.
The brand’s vision is to meet the needs of conscious consumers who value high-quality materials, an ecosustainable supply chain, and principles of inclusivity and integration. The Maison embraces these values through the creation of unique, handcrafted garments for the Italian and international markets. Each piece is designed, cut, and made by hand using existing stock fabrics from the Tuscan artisanal supply chain, resulting in limitededition creations that give new life to surplus materials while avoiding the use of new raw resources.
