Mo Diener works transdisciplinarily and conceptually in the field of critical art and theory. She conceives performative interventions, public performances and assemblages. In 2009/10 Mo Diener started research on her maternal ancestors (Roma / Sinti), which she was able to continue in the context of her artistic research project Science, Fiction & Politics at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern (publication Genetics as Social Practice, Transdisciplinary Views on Science and Culture by Barbara Prainsack, Silke Schicktanz, Gabriele Werner-Felmayer, London 2014). In 2011 Mo Diener continued her artistic research on the Master of Arts in Fine Arts at ZHdK. She founded in the context of this work, together with RRMarki and Milena Petrovic, the Roma Jam Session art collective. The collective agreed that Mo would be the artistic director. Since 2014 Mo Diener holds the Master of Arts in Fine Art from ZHdK.
