#ERIACNET4EU: ERIAC member organisations awarded grants to promote EU values & encourage cultural diplomacy
ERIAC, with funding from the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values Programme (CERV) of the European Union, has awarded grants totalling €170,000.00 to ERIAC members as part of the ERIACNET4EU project. These grants will be used to promote EU values and rights and to shift the narratives around Roma.
ERIAC received 30 project applications through a competitive call and evaluated them rigorously. The Selection Committee granted 12 awards to ERIAC members, with a total investment of €170,000.00. The awarded grants range from €6,000.00 to €20,000.00 (the rate of the project support is 80%), lasting 6 to 12 months. These projects will be implemented in 7 European Union member states.
“The ERIACNET4EU project is focused on promoting EU values and rights by supporting initiatives that aim to change the narratives on Roma. This is a crucial step in creating a more democratic EU. Through the provision of essential resources, ERIAC seeks to empower its members to undertake projects that promote equality and inclusivity in European society. The grant competition also highlights the commitment of ERIAC and the EU to promoting and acknowledging the contributions of Roma to the rich historical and cultural heritage of Europe.”
