OVERVIEW ON POETRY AND LITERATURE ON ROMA HOLOCAUST
Roma arts and culture have played an essential role in raising awareness of the fate of Sinti and Roma during the Holocaust. In particular, literature and poetry have conveyed compelling accounts of wartime trauma experienced by Sinti and Roma communities. Ahead of the August 2 commemorations, we have compiled a list of selected books on the Roma Holocaust, written from a Romani perspective, to get a first-hand account of what happened.
