BIO
I’ve moved from Serbia to London, UK in Year 2000 aged 4 following the Serbo/ kosovo war. Growing up in London as a roma has made me feel the need to express myself and feel understood as I couldn’t relate or meet any roma outside my family. This need to express myself has spurred interest in music and arts.
Fast forward to 18, I began to work in industry as a set designer, window display and retail designer while I was studying my A-levels in Fine art, Graphics and product design. Working in that industry has exposed me to high end brands such as Chanel, Burberry, Lanvin to name a few and began my journey into working creatively among professionals at a young age. I began freelancing Graphic design and have worked with Enfield Council, C&A, many retail brands and so on.
My experiences have led to me to study Architecture at Central Saint martins. Being here, I have been exposed to many opportunities, being part of the architecture society, Architecture Foundation and interning with Louis Vuitton during my Gap year.
I interned At Louis Vuitton as an accessory designer in Paris for 7 months. Many of my designs have made the FW19, SS2020 and 2020 Cruise collection and also commercial lines in store. My varied experiences have no led me to seek ownership of my own work and now starting up a platform to champion upcoming artists. I now seek to express myself and my roma upbringing in a western society, through installations.
