ERIAC@Timisoara 2023

Following the invitation from the consortium implementing the European Capital of Culture Timisoara 2023 programming, ERIAC started a formal partnership with the organizers Centrul de Proiecte al Municipiului Timișoara and the local organization the Intercultural Institute Timisoara. We will organize a series of events throughout 2023. You can find the list of events below, and we will be publishing more details about each event soon.

 

-presentation of Mihaela Cimpeanu and Sead Kazanxhiu at the main exhibition of the European Capital of Culture Timisoara 2023 ‘Chronic Desire’ (curated by Cosmina Goagea, Corina Oprea, Brîndușa Tudor) – 16.02.2023-23.04.2023

 

-presentation of RomaMoMA Library featuring the work Adjacent Cloth by D. Baker- TBC

 

-‘Bring the European Union close to Roma’-public information session, within the ERIACNET4EU programme, live streamed through ERIAC communication channels-22.04.2023

 

-two-day Roma Music festival (title TBC) with the participation of Mahala Rai Banda and Gipsy Groove- 22.04.2023-24.04.2023

 

-Antigypsyism academic conference, organized in collaboration with local partners: the University of West Timisoara and the Intercultural Institute Timisoara. The academic coordinator of the conference is dr. Iulius Rostas. The proceedings of the conference will be published by an academic publisher- 14-15.09.2023

 

-‘Roma(ni) Past, Europe’s Future’-online panel, within the ERIACNET4EU programme, broadcasted through ERIAC’s communications channels-14.09.2023
