ERIAC was delighted to host a group of high-school students from Lycée Jacques Amyot in Melun, France and give a guided tour at the exhibition titled “Roma Women Weaving Europe”.
Since the students were really curious about the work of ERIAC and the Roma contribution to arts and culture, it was our pleasure to share information about Roma art, culture, and history. During the guided tour, each student had the opportunity to learn more about Roma feminism and the perspectives of Roma women.
During the museum pedagogical workshop, students discovered the artworks in small groups and asked questions to Marina Csikós and Almir Huseini from the ERIAC team. The visit ended with a lively discussion about their experiences and thoughts on feminism and the importance of building bridges between Roma and non-Roma.
