WEBINAR: Teaching the History of Minorities in Europe: the Case of Roma History

 

To continue the celebrations on the occasion of 8 April – International Roma Day, ERIAC participates in a webinar focusing on “Teaching the History of Minorities in Europe: the Case of Roma History”. The webinar is organised by the Observatory on History Teaching in Europe in cooperation with the Roma and Travellers Team of the Council of Europe.

We are happy to invite you to follow the debate in the company of :

• Ms Anamarija Viček: State Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia and Bureau Member of OHTE’s Governing Board
• Raul Cârstocea, Researcher and Lecturer at Maynooth University and Vice-Chair of OHTE’s Scientific Advisory Council
• Anna Mirga-Kruszelnicka, anthropologist, Deputy Director of the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture

The discussion will be moderated by Ms Oana Taba, Project Manager within the Roma and Traveller Team of the Council of Europe. The event will be held online on 14 April 2022 between 16.00 and 17.30, in French and English.
