Announcing the 2024 Roma Holocaust Voices Fellowship Recipients”
In a significant step toward preserving Roma and Sinti historical memory, ERIAC and the Fortunoff Archive are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Roma Holocaust Voices Fellowship. Launched in commemoration of the International Roma Holocaust Remembrance Day, this fellowship initiative supports essential work in transcription, translation, and creative projects that highlight the testimonies of Roma and Sinti survivors of the Holocaust.
The Roma Holocaust Voices Fellowship provides an invaluable opportunity for researchers, translators, and creators to engage with rare archival materials. By preserving, transcribing, and creatively interpreting these testimonies, this year’s fellows will contribute to both Holocaust remembrance and Roma historical awareness.
