BIO
I’ve been a pianist and singer since 2000, I’ve been fortunate enough to create music all across Canada with my band mates. I’ve had the honour of working with diverse artistic across Canada using mixed art forms to advocate for social justice issues such as gender-based violence, child care and women’s rights. Over the last decade I have created dozens of workshops that use art, writing, narrative and movement to reclaim dignity and power for women who have experienced violence. I’ve worked with multi faith and multi language arts collective and initiatives to bring together diverse community through music and art. I have extensive knowledge of art as advocacy and have worked with diverse communities of people across the world. I’ve worked with Romani communities and Romnja from Romania, Hungary, Canada and the UK.
