Neeraj’s entry into the field of fine arts started with his passion for graphical arts. After completing four years diploma in Design he worked as a visual communicator on various new media projects. After a successful and brief career as a graphic artist, he started off as a filmmaker after completing studies in Film Direction and Script Writing. He co-produced and directed his multiple awards winning film My Friend Su with Shekhar Kapur in 2000-2001. His films have been widely shown in global film festivals & broadcasted internationally.
Since past eight years Neeraj Bhasin has been dedicatedly working in the space of museology and co- founded a non-profitable organization, Heritage Commons with a vision to dedicatedly work in the propagation and modernization of Indian art & museums, specifically to create state-of-the-art digital storytelling experiences, interactive walls and museum documentation projects (please visit http://www.heritagecommons.in for more details).
Their recent project in the museum space is GVK Mumbai T2 Museum, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, India, Humboldt Forum Museum, Berlin, Germany, PONDYPHOTO 2016, RSSG Smithsonian Mall SASIAN Journey, Kochi Biennale 2016 for KNMA.
