I have vast experience in the field of arts and culture in Wales. I managed The Point Art Centre in Cardiff Bay for Maggie Russell who was formerly Head of Talent at the BBC. Whilst at The Point I was Production Assistant for the Mercury Theatre Company, I also facilitated drama, script writing and film and radio workshops and delivered drama workshops to children from Butetown. I have also worked as PA for Mr Michael Bogdanov and assisted him with Dogo Films and the Wales Theatre Company as a Production Assistant. I was also employed by Cardiff and District Multicultural Arts Development and managed their Arts Council funded One Tribe Project which showcased and promoted the arts and culture of the diverse ethnic communities living in Wales. I facilitated workshops and managed a three week multicultural arts festival throughout Wales. I also event managed the Diversity Awards Wales and the Golden Pixels and project managed Butetown Carnival in 2000 and 2002. I worked for Promo Cymru as their Events Manager and developed the creative skills of young people and delivered events management training. I have also delivered cultural diversity training to an extensive range of people. I have been a community artist working on projects across Wales and collaborating with artists in France and from Hungary and Italy. I have also been employed as a Community Development Officer the Black Voluntary Sector Network Wales and Gypsy Liaison Officer for Powys County Council.
